Ok this is a Discussion Kinky and I are in on another MB... as that MB registration is Closed I lkeave this here for Opinions From all[/i]
Supes torquaism-vaos both, match over. What do Sentry and Hyperion have shown that Superman doesn't exceed?
Torquasm-vo is a bullshit Kryptonian martial art. Now, let's examine. TV 'shifts the user's consciousness into a higher theta state so that he can fight an enemy in a purely mental realm.' Basically, this is astral projection. Now, any comic book form of astral projection you'll look at ... ever, states clearly that objects in the astral plane cannot effect objects in the physical plane, and vice-versa. Which means if Superman engages TV, his mind shifts into the astral plane, leaving his physical body on the physical plane to be physically beaten to a pulp by a giddy Hyperion and Sentry. It should also be noted that our good friend Kal-El has yet to master this ability.
Now, if we're discussing Superman, Hyperion, and Sentry, then we have to go with current continuity, as only in current continuity to all these exist.
Therefore, Superman would not possess torquasm-vo for this battle.
... Supes still has a bunch of tricks up his sleeve. He could, say, simply phase through Sentry exploding the poor rip-off during the painful process.
Someone seems to be confusing Superman with Barry Allen or Wally West. No where, in any continuity or any timeline, has Superman expressed the ability of phasing.
Naah, Supes just lobotomizes him with his heatvision. It has actually been done once...
Yes. In the cartoon, the Superman of the Justice Lords lobotomized Doomsday. Also, part of Sentry's powers is a control of light (proven in Titans that heat vision is merely light by Doctor Light stealing Kon-El's). I see no way that Superman could lobotomize Sentry. Not to mention Sentry's immunity to heat, as he has traveled to the sun, and didn't seem to really be bothered. So heat vision ... not so much. Once again, we must bring into effect another of Superman's limitations (see below).
As to what Sentry and Hyperion have that Superman does not have ...
Basically put, Superman does not have the mentality to enter into a fight to the finish. This is why Doomsday beat the living fuck out of him. If he did somehow gain the mentality to enter into the fight, however, he would not be able to finish it, as all of his signature moves (heat vision, hyper breath, etc) are both useless against the invulnerabilities of Hyperion and Sentry. The fight would go on and on and on, but, unfortunately, Superman would not be part of the fight for long.
Personally, if it was up to me, and I was Sentry, I'd use my resources of Tony Stark and Reed Richards, to find out what frequency of radiation that Hyperion runs off of. And then, while I'm generating that radiation, I'd beat the T-total shit out of him. Then, using my vastly enhanced speed, I'd fly around until I found Juggernaut, and beat Superman to death with him ('cause remember, ladies and gentlemen, Juggernaut is not a mutant, but instead is surrounded by a nigh-invulnerable, magik force field).
Winner: Sentry, with an involuntary assist from Juggernaut.

As to what Sentry and Hyperion have that Superman does not have ...
- Neither of them have a code against killing. Yes, once Sentry had a code against fighting, for fear that the Void would appear because of it, but he has no qualms about killing, especially now that the issue of the Void has seemingly been taken care of, thanks to Tony Stark and Reed Richards. Ask what's left of Carnage. Hyperion also has no qualms with killing. Winner: Tie between Hyperion and Sentry
- Sentry has some limited form of empathic transmission, able to calm the rage that fuels the Hulk. I'm pretty sure he would be able to get a boy scout like Clark to calm down. Winner: Sentry (though Hyperion is not included in this match up)
- Both of them have far fewer weaknesses then Superman. Again, if you wander through the DC Universe, it's possible to pick up Kryptonite at any neighborhood convenience market, or even Wal-Mart. It's just that readily available. Then you have his vulnerability to magik. Rough translation, all you have to do is find an enchanted rock and crack him in his skull, and he's as dead as if you cracked a normal human being in his skull. We won't go into the red solar radiation thing, since it would be too difficult to put this fight into a situation with red solar radiation as a factor. Sentry, as far as we know, has only a weakness to mental manipulation, which neither Superman nor Hyperion have. This makes Sentry the odds-on-favorite in this fight. Hyperion has only shown a weakness to a specific elemental isotope of uranium. Winner: Sentry
- Sentry has been proven to generate radiation and be able to manipulate radiation, leaving one to theorize that perhaps he himself could generate Kryptonite radiation (note, this is theoretical, not proven). This would also be able to be said that Sentry could, theoretically, generate the same radiation as the uranium isotope that is Hyperion's weakness. Winner: Sentry
- On a purely observatory note, both Hyperion and Sentry are legal residents of the United States, Sentry having been born here and Hyperion (Marvel Max version) being raised by the United States government. Clark/Kal-El/Superman is an illegal immigrant from a completely different planet, let alone a completely different country, and we would like to request that Clark/Kal-El/Superman/Gangbuster/Krypton Man/Nightwing/Nova/Jordan Elliot/(any other aliases he may attempt to use in order to infiltrate the American culture) register with INS ... or get the fuck out ... so that we, the people of the United States, can build a 'Super Fence' and keep him out. We did it with Mexicans ... why not Kryptonians? Oh yeah ... and take your hot cousin and your clone with you. Winner: Marvel boys
